A new Anglican church has been established at Dawenya in the Tema Diocese. On Sunday, 30th March 2025, the Rt. Rev’d Dr. George Kotei Neequaye officially named the newly born church Archbishop Robert Okine Anglican Church, Dawenya, in honour of the esteemed Archbishop.
As part of the occasion, a sod-cutting ceremony was held to signify the beginning of the church’s physical development.
The creation of this new church marks a significant milestone in the growth of the Anglican community in the area. To God be the glory.
