Dr Emmanuel Nii Armah Tackie appointed Lay Canon of Anglican Diocese of Nkoranza

Dr Emmanuel Nii Armah Tackie, the People’s Warden of the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Abossey -Okai, in the Anglican Diocese of Accra, has been appointed a Lay Canon of the Anglican Diocese of Nkoranza in the Bono East Region.

His appointment is in recognition of his exemplary service and significant contributions towards the inauguration and subsequent consecration of the first Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Nkoranza, a letter of appointment, signed by the Bishop of Nkoranza, the Rt. Rev’d Dr. George Dawson-Ahmoah, said.

“Your commitment, dedication, and tireless efforts in supporting the establishment and growth of the Anglican Diocese of Nkoranza have not gone unnoticed. Your leadership, wisdom, and unwavering support have been invaluable in furthering the mission and vision of our diocese,” the letter stated.

The Bishop said, as a Lay Canon, Dr Tachie would continue to play a vital role in the life of the Diocese of Nkoranza, providing spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to the clergy and congregation.”

His appointment, Bishop Dawson-Ahmoah said was a testament to his outstanding character, deep faith, and steadfast commitment to the Anglican Communion.

“On behalf of the clergy, members of the Anglican Diocese of Nkoranza and on my own behalf extend my heartfelt congratulations on your appointment as Lay Canon. We look forward to continuing our journey together in faith and service to the glory of God,” he said.
