Seven ordinands have been ordained into the Order of Diaconate in the Anglican Diocese of Tema.
The ordination service, held at the Holy Gabriel Anglican Church, Ashaiman, was presided over by the Rt Rev’d Dr George Kotei Neequaye, the Diocesan Bishop.
Venerable De Graft Johnson, Canon of the SS.Alban and Matthew Cathedral Tema, in a sermon, encouraged the deacons to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their ministry focusing on the tool of evangelism.
In a charge to the ordinands prior to their ordination rites, he reminded the seven of the importance of diligence in their service.
The ordination service was attended by family, friends and well wishers of the seven Reverends.
