SS Alban and Matthew Cathedral has undertaken an evangelism outreach in Mataheko at a yet-to-be-named Anglican church as part of its mission and church growth initiative.

The outreach brought together clergy, members of the Cathedral Evangelism Committee, members of the Guild of the Good Shepherd, and the youth of the church, who actively participated in the evangelistic exercise.

The team engaged in house-to-house evangelism, public witnessing, prayer sessions, and fellowship with members of the emerging congregation. They shared the Word of God, invited residents to worship, and encouraged them to deepen their relationship with Christ and the Anglican faith.

Speaking during the outreach, leaders of the evangelism team emphasized the importance of spreading the Gospel beyond the walls of the church and supporting new Anglican communities in their spiritual growth.

Members of the Mataheko community expressed appreciation for the visit, welcoming the presence of the Cathedral team and their message of hope and faith.

The evangelism exercise ended with prayers for the growth of the new Anglican church in Mataheko and a commitment to continue supporting the mission work in the area.
